How to Pay With Paypal on Ebay

Pay pal is one of the most popular payment methods offered on eBay today. Pay pal allows both eBay buyer and sellers to handle payment transactions in a secure and timely manner. One very good reason many people choose to use PayPal is the fact that the payment transaction can be made without exposing any of the payer's personal banking or credit card information. This article will show you how to make payments on eBay by using PayPal.

Instructions:

1) You must have a PayPal account to make a payment transaction on eBay. If you do not have one, I have provided a link to a great eHow article that will help you sign up for a PayPal account.

2) When you make a purchase on eBay you will receive an invoice from the buyer. This is where you will click on the Pay now link. You will be presented several payment choices. The choices are usually Pay Pal, personal checking, credit card, and even the option to pay by money order is sometimes offered. Choose the PayPal payment link.

3) After you choose the PayPal payment link, you will be taken to the PayPal secure log in page. Enter your Paypal log in information to Log into your PayPal account.

4) After you log in, you will be taken to the confirm payment page. On this page you will see a link to the item you purchased on eBay and your personal Paypal funding options. This is where you will choose one of your PayPal funding sources (personal bank account or credit card), or you can choose to may a payment with money that is available in your PayPal account.

5) After you choose your payment method, click on confirm payment link. It is that simple. You have just made a payment on eBay by using Paypal.

Tips and Warnings:

Take the time to add several payment options to your Paypal account. This will save you time when making a payment in the future when your primary PayPal funding source does not have enough funds to cover your eBay transaction. Never share personal PayPal information. The email address you have on file with Paypal is enough information to research any questions about payment.
