How to Trace an Adsense Account Number

Google AdSense is a program that lets you display Google-sponsored advertisements on a website and earn income. To use AdSense, you must place a piece of HTML code on your site for each advertisement you wish to show. Besides the details needed to display an ad, this code also contains a website owner's AdSense account number, or publisher ID. You can use your Web browser to trace your AdSense account number or the publisher ID for any website owner.

Instructions:

1)Navigate to the website containing the AdSense advertisements you wish to trace using your Web browser.

2)Press "Ctrl" and "U" at the same time on your keyboard to view the site's HTML source code. This shortcut works in most modern Web browsers. You can also right-click on a page with your mouse and choose "View Source" from the menu that pops up in Microsoft Internet Explorer.

3)Press "Ctrl" and "F" on your keyboard to search through the HTML source code. Type "google_ad_client" without the quotes and press "Enter" on your keyboard. The AdSense advertisement code, which contains the owner's publisher ID, will display. Look to the right of the "google_ad_client" identifier to find the AdSense account number. It uses the format of "pub-" followed by a group of numbers. All advertisements created by the AdSense account owner use this publisher ID.

Tips and Warnings:

AdSense publisher IDs do not reveal any personal information about owners. Google uses them only to identify AdSense publishers.

Google Adsense: Keeping Your Account From Being Disabled and Useful Books About the Program

How Can I Make Sure That My Account Will Not Be Disabled?

Google Adsense Program Policies make no allowances for deceptive practices. The most important thing a publisher can do to ensure the integrity of their site is to be aware of what is happening on your site. Google has made it abundantly clear not to click on your own ads or ask others to do so. But what about practices a publisher may not purposely carry out?

Make sure that ads associated with Google never appear in an unrequested pop-up. Don’t be talked into purchasing traffic for your site that may contain adware. Respect the Google trademarks. Don’t use any Google trademarks or logos without their consent. Don’t change the Adsense code. If you’re a pro at html, don’t assume you can add your own code. If you’re new to html, simply copy and paste the offered code. Don’t mess with it.

Provide a good environment for advertisers and a positive user experience. Don’t try to be deceptive in any way. Google’s rules may sound strict, but believe me, protecting the integrity of the Google Adsense Program is in your best interest as well as Google’s. After all, a positive, honest Google Adsense program means more money for all of us.

Useful Books About the Google Adsense Program For Users of All Stages

Do you need to buy a book to use Google Adsense? Not necessarily. Google’s support page has a wealth of information. But you might consider it if you want to read a personal account of an Adsense wizard such as Eric Giguere or say, if you want to learn more about HTML. ‘Who Let the Blogs Out: A Hyperconnected Peek at the World of Weblogs by Biz Stone has a lot of information on blogging as well as information about Google Adsense. The following is just a few books you can find at amazon.com on the subject:

Make Easy Money with Google: Using the Adsense Advertising Program By Eric Giguere
The Google Adsense Handbook By Angus McLeod
Google Advertising Tools: Cashing in with Adsense, Adwords, and the Google APIs by Harold Davis
Top-Paying Google Adsense and Adwords Keywords for Pharmaceuticals (In Digital Format) [Download: Adobe Reader] By W. Frederick Zimmerman
The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Growing Your Business with Google By Dave Taylor

Google Adsense: Having Multiple Sites For One Account and Buying Google Adsense “Secrets”

Is it Possible for Me to Have More Than One Site For My Google Adsense Account?

Yes. In fact, the more sites you have displaying Google Adsense ads, the more money you will make. You don’t even have to notify Google of the new sites. Make sure though, that any new site you add conforms to Google Adsense Program Policies, because if your account gets terminated for any reason, you would not be able to display the Google Adsense ads on any of them. All you have to do is copy and past the same ad layout code you previously copied and pasted to your original site.

The same rules apply when adding an Adsense for Search box to your new site. Simply choose all the parameters from the choices displayed, copy the code to the new site or new pages within the old site. As in the beginning, Google’s webcrawler will detect the code and you’re all set.

Will It Help Me to Buy Google Adsense “Secrets” E-books and Reports?

As with any money-making venture, there are pitfalls, pros and cons and some outright cons. As popular as Google Adsense has become, it’s no surprise there is a wealth of information for sale. Try it. Google Google Adsense and you’ll see what I mean. There are those promising they make thousands and thousands of dollars a month from Google Adsense and they are willing to share their “secrets” with you – for a price.

The fact is Google Adsense will tell you everything you need to know – for free. They have a support site that covers virtually everything you would need to know about the program and experience will teach you the rest, although I admit I have seen a couple of interesting books on amazon.com.

There are a lot of people out there in cyberspace who will gladly answer your questions for free and there are many forums where you can post questions. You can even email the Google Adsense Support Staff if you have questions that their Support Site doesn’t answer.

Experience will probably be your best teacher anyway. And the good news is the Google Adsense program makes that experience painless in that you have nothing lose. So just take a chance on yourself for now. Learn everything you can to maximize your earning potential.

How To Trade a Forex Mini Account

Foreign currency exchange, or Forex, is a large worldwide network of traders who speculate on the value of currencies. While daily changes in exchange rates are small, Forex trading involves high amounts of leverage to capitalize on fluctuations of fractions of a cent. For this reason, Forex can be extraordinarily risky. A Forex mini account or micro account allows you to learn and participate in the Forex market without risking too much money. Many accounts can be opened for less than $500. Trading a Forex mini account is the same as trading larger accounts, but with less risk.

Instructions:

1)Open a Forex mini or micro account with any Forex broker. The terminology for these account varies. To ensure decreased risk with your account, make certain that the minimum trade size, or "lot," of the account is no more than 10,000 currency units. Many accounts are available with lot sizes of only 1,000 which offers an additional reduction in risk.

2)Fund the account after it is opened. Most Forex brokers accept automated Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfers that may be processed through the broker's website. There is typically a three-day delay on getting access to these funds after the transfer is initiated.

3)Download and install the Forex trading platform on your computer. Most Forex brokers offer their own proprietary trading software free for all account holders. You usually cannot trade a Forex mini account without installing this program.

4)Open the Forex trading software.

5)Choose a currency pair that you wish to trade. All currency trading involves a "base" currency and a second currency that establishes the base currency's value. No currency has intrinsic value without comparison to another currency. The U.S. Dollar, for example, may rise in value against the Canadian Dollar while simultaneously falling in value against the Euro.

6)Chart the currency pair so you can see how prices are fluctuating.

7)Purchase a single lot of the currency pair when you believe the base currency is likely to rise. Forex action is quick so you must be nimble as a Forex trader. Most Forex platforms offer obvious "Buy" and "Sell" button for the currency pair you are trading.

8)Sell the currency pair after you have achieved a desirable profit or to cut any losses short. Constant awareness of potential losses is the single most important issue that should be on the minds of any trader. Avoid the temptation to let your losses run indefinitely. Many new traders hope a losing position will rebound, but this usually just adds to a trade's losses.

Tips and Warnings:

Carefully consider whether you need a mini or micro account. In some cases, a mini account is advertised with a minimum lot size of 10,000 currency units. This is still quite risky and should be avoided for novice traders. Seek a Forex account with a minimum lot size of 1,000 if you are completely new to trading, or a minimum size of 10,000 if you are willing to endure more risk. At all costs avoid a Forex account with a lot size of 100,000 as this may be exceptionally stressful for new traders.

How to Change an AdSense Account From Individual to Business

Google AdSense is an ad service from Google that allows you to place Google ads on your Web pages. The ads generate money once people click on them, and the money accumulates in your Google AdSense account. The earnings check Google sends you includes your full name; if you're operating an online business, you can opt to receive AdSense checks in your business name instead of your name. However, switching from an individual account to a business account requires you to open another AdSense account. You can change the AdSense publisher ID on your Web pages to reflect the change.

Instructions:

1) Visit the Google AdSense application page (see Resources). Fill out the application. Make sure to list your business name in the "Payee Name" box. All other information must match your business information.

2) Click "Submit." As long as there are no errors on your application, Google will send you an approval email once they receive and review your application.

3) Access your new AdSense account Web page. Look at the "Publisher ID" at the top right of the page. Replace your old publisher's ID on your websites with the new publisher ID.

4) Log in to your old AdSense account in order to cancel it. Copy the Publisher ID code. Navigate to the AdSense cancellation form (see Resources). Enter your name, AdSense email address and Publisher ID. Answer your security question and click "Submit."

Tips and Warnings:

You do not need to cancel your individual account if you do not wish to do so. The exact steps to change your publisher ID depend on your website.

How to Close a FOREX Account

If you regularly trade in the FOREX market, you may need to close a brokerage account at some point in the future. Whether you lose confidence in your broker or need to access the money and stop trading for a time due to financial difficulties, you can easily close out your FOREX account and access your money.

Instructions:

1) Examine your trading platform to determine if you have any open trades outstanding. If you are a long-term trader, you might have some FOREX trades still open. If they are in profit, you can close them out now and take the money. If the trades are losing, you might find it necessary to wait awhile until they return to profitability.

2) Get an account termination form from your FOREX broker. Depending on the broker, you may be able to access the form directly from a website. Many brokers make such forms available from the references section of their websites. You can download the form and print at your convenience. Other brokers make it more difficult to find the form you need. You might need to call a customer service representative and request a form via e-mail or fax.

3) Complete the form. In addition to providing your contact information, you will have to specify how you want any remaining money returned. For example, if you fund your account with a credit card, the broker will process a refund on your credit card for the amount you have in your account. You will usually have to sign the form at the bottom to authorize the closure.

4) Submit the form to your broker in the requested method. Typically, the broker's fax number or e-mail is listed on the bottom of the form. Usually you can simply scan the form and e-mail it from your computer --- the fastest way to return the form. At that point, you simply have to wait to get your money back and your account will be closed.

If you do not want to use your eBay account any longer, you may close the account permanently through eBay. Once your account is closed, eBay indicates you may not reopen it. It may take up to 6 months to officially close your account from the date you first request closure.

Instructions:

1) End all your auctions. If you are a seller on eBay, you may request to close your account at any time. However, eBay will not close your account until 180 days after the close of your last auction.

2) Submit an official request form to close your eBay account. A link to the form is listed in the Resources section. Fill out the form completely and submit the form.

3) Change your user ID if the user ID you use for your eBay account is the same as your personal email address. Once you have closed your account, you may no longer change your user ID and your email address will permanently be listed on feedback you left for others.

4) Receive the closure letter from eBay at the time your account is officially closed. Once you receive this letter, you may not access your account any longer or make any changes to your account.

How to Delete an eBay Account

The popular auction site eBay allows people to list items for sale, and buyers around the world can bid on them. The company, founded in 1995, makes its money by charging fees for listing and advertising items, as well as a small commission on the final sale price of the item. As of 2009, eBay had more than 88 million active accounts worldwide. Opening an account is easy. Deleting an eBay account is a little more complicated.

Instructions:

1) Complete all pending transactions on your account. This includes paying for any items you have won at auction or requesting a refund if you have excess funds in your account.

2) Resolve any disputes. You cannot close an eBay account if there are any pending disputes.

3) Submit a request to close your account. There will be a short waiting period as eBay makes sure your account does not have any outstanding issues, and then your account will be closed.

4) Wait for the account to be closed. Once the account is closed, eBay keeps only the personal information that it needs to assess system troubles or that is required by law.

Tips and Warnings:

Users can just deactivate their seller account, rather than their entire account, by removing their payment information on the seller account page. If you do this, make sure you delete any subscriptions to avoid accruing charges in the future. As with closing your account entirely, you need to make sure your seller account balance is zero, so make any necessary payments or request a refund. If you delete your account, you will lose all the feedback that others left for you. If you later decide to open another account, you will have to rebuild your reputation from scratch. You cannot close your account if it is suspended by eBay for a dispute until the dispute is resolved.

What Is a FOREX Account

The foreign currency exchange (Forex) market is one of the largest financial networks in the world. Traders may participate in Forex much like they participate in the stock market or other financial markets. To trade Forex, you must open a Forex account with an established Forex broker. If you believe that you can accurately predict how currency exchange rates will change over time, trading Forex can be an effective way to profit from your insights.

Forex Market
The Forex market is a vast electronic network of individual traders and large institutions that together create an environment where nearly anyone can speculate on the valuation of major world currencies. The amount of trading capital that passes through the international Forex market each day is more than 10 times the total capital of all the daily stock market transactions in the world. A Forex account is a small part of this huge financial system that allows you to potentially profit from your predictions of future exchange rates between any two currencies.

Trading Platforms
Most Forex brokers provide their own proprietary trading software that interfaces with their brokerage system. These programs allow you to trade Forex directly from your PC in real time as prices fluctuate. Because of the fast-paced nature of the Forex market, your comfort level with the software associated with your Forex account is important. Different brokers may provide considerably different features in the form of screen layouts and the manner in which you place Forex orders.

Demo Accounts
Because individual Forex trading strategies vary, as do traders' desired software features, most Forex brokers provide free demo accounts to prospective clients. These temporary accounts provide full access to the software from a virtual trading account that is funded with fake capital. You can benefit not just from trying out the broker's software components, but also from practicing your Forex trading skills without the risks of using real money. This is an effective way of opening a Forex account. If you are satisfied with the platform, you can easily convert it into a real account by completing the broker's application.

Leverage
Most Forex accounts provide extraordinary leverage so you can profit considerably from small investments in currency exchange rates. Leverage is the ability to control large assets with little actual cash. A typical Forex account can provide anywhere from 20 to 100 times the buying power of the cash it contains. Thus for only $1,000 you could buy up to $100,000 worth of currency. If the exchange rate moves only a little, this magnifies into considerable profit or loss due to the leverage. This is a significant component of Forex accounts, and introduces considerable risk into Forex trading.

Open 24 Hours
Unlike the stock market, which is open during business hours, the Forex market never closes. This is an attractive aspect to using a Forex account. You can trade in the evenings or overnight while you continue to work other jobs during the day. For novice traders who want to learn how to actively trade, this is a good introduction into the financial markets.
