How to Change Your Mailing Address for eBay

eBay is an online auction website that allows users to connect with others to buy and sell merchandise. eBay maintains personal information, such as your address, to ensure users know where merchandise is coming from or where its destination is. You can edit your personal account information, including your address, with ease on the eBay website.

Instructions:

1) Open the eBay website in your browser (see Resources). Log in to your account with your username and password by clicking on the blue "Sign in" link at the top of the web page.

2) Click on the "My Account" button located at the upper right-hand corner of the web page. Click on the grey "Account" tab above your account summary.

3) Click on the "Addresses" link underneath the "My Account" header on the left-hand side of the page.

4) Hit the blue "Change" link to the right of the registration address listed to change your main contact address. Enter your mailing address information into the appropriate form fields and click on the "Change Registration Information" button to save your changes.

5) Click on the blue "Change" link to the right of the primary shipping address to change the default shipping address associated with your eBay account. A list of your current addresses will appear, including any addresses that are associated with your account through PayPal. You may make a secondary address your primary shipping address by clicking on the blue "Make Primary" link to the right of the address, or you may enter a new address by clicking on the "Edit Address" link to the right of the primary address. Enter the correct shipping information into the corresponding fields and click "Submit Changes" to save the new address.
